The course introduces the student to the main concepts on the evolution of behaviour from the most primitive animals to humans..It is suitable for people who are intersted in applying for universtity courses dealing with animals. It gives an overview of the main issues in ethology and evolution.


Audience

The course is open to everyone in the world who is interested in learning more about animals.

Each student is assigned a tutor interacting through email or instant messaging.


Time management

You will be expected to dedicate an average time of 6-7 study hours per week in order to achieve successful learning. The number of hours necessary to learn a subject varies with individual characteristics. We can´t say that if you study for at least 2 days and use 3 hours on each day, you will be able to learn everything on this course. Some people may need less time than others. These calculations are based on average numbers. It is up to you how you manage your time, but this is intended to give a preliminary idea of how much time you will need to do this course successfully.
