About the Courses
Biology is the science of life. The courses in this section are aimed to provide a general understanding of the several mechanisms that underpin life from the microscopic world to macroscopic complex systems.
The Model
These courses can be taken in classes of 12 students starting in determined dates or can be taken individually as a series of live lectures in days agreed between the student and the tutor. In order to follow the live classes you need to have a set of headphoes and a microphone. A webcam is not necessary, but in case you have one, it can make the course more interactive.

BI01:Campbell Biology
This course follows the book Campbell Biology (Pearson International Edition). Each weekly session deals with a chapter. The book has 56 chapters which means that the full course will take 56 weeks.
The full course fee is £1,200.00 and covers the 56 chapters which accounts for a total of 112 hours of online support plus 8 extra hours (4 sessions) for further discussions.
However you can select only which chapters you need support with. In this case you pay only £20 per session. Each session lasts for 2 hours and covers one chapter of the book.
The course is recommended to students seeking higher education degrees in the life sciences.

BI02: International Baccalaureate
This course follows the book Biology for the IB Diploma (Hodder Education). Each week deals with a chapter. The book has 22 chapters which means that the full course takes 22 weeks.
The full course fee is £500.00 and covers the 22 chapters which accounts for a total of 44 hours of online support (22 weekly sessions) plus 6 extra hours (3 sessions) for further discussions.
However you can select only which chapters you need support with. In this case you pay only £20 per session. Each session lasts for 2 hours and covers one chapter of the book.
